Samsung Galaxy M36 5G with 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, Exynos 1380 processor launched in India

Samsung has officially launched its new Galaxy M36 5G smartphone in India. The phone comes with a large display, powerful performance, and long-term software support. It will be available from July 12th through Amazon, Samsung’s online store, and select retail stores.

The Galaxy M36 5G features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen uses Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ to protect it from scratches. It has a U-shaped notch and slim bezels for a clean look.

The phone is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1380 processor and comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also includes a large vapor cooling chamber to keep the phone cool during heavy use. It runs Android 15 with One UI 7, and Samsung promises 6 generations of Android updates and 6 years of security updates. It is rare in this price range.

The Galaxy M36 5G packs a 50 megapixel main camera with OIS, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2 megapixel macro sensor. It supports 10-bit HDR video recording on both the front and rear cameras. It also has a 12 megapixel camera on the front for selfies.

Connectivity options are 5G SA / NSA, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

It packs a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. However, like many recent Samsung phones, the charger is not included in the box.

The phone is slim at just 7.7mm and weighs 197 grams. It comes in Orange Haze, Velvet Black, and Serene Green colors.
