Xiaomi has launched its latest high-end tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro 12.5, in China. This new model comes as the successor to the Pad 7 Pro and replaces the Qualcomm chip with Xiaomi’s own XRING 01 SoC, a new 3nm processor developed in-house.

The tablet features a 12.5-inch 3.2K LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision support. It also comes in a Nano Soft Light Edition, which uses special coating technology to reduce glare and reflectivity. Xiaomi says this helps with eye comfort and viewing in bright environments.

The Pad 7S Pro is powered by the new XRING 01 chip, a 10-core processor with a 6-core NPU and 16-core GPU. It supports up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The tablet also has PC-level multitasking features and runs HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. It also supports both the Xiaomi Pen and a Floating Keyboard with adjustable angles.

In terms of cameras, it comes with a 50MP rear camera that supports 4K recording and a 32MP front camera for video calls. For audio, it features six speakers with Dolby Atmos, and four microphones.

It has Supports Dolby Atmos and has 6 Speakers along with 4 microphones. Connectivity options are Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB Type-C. The Pad 7S Pro is backed by a 10,610mAh battery with 120W fast charging and 7.5W reverse wired charging. It also supports multiple fast charging protocols, including PD 3.0.

The Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro is already on sale in China. It competes directly with flagship Android tablets from other brands, but brings a custom chip and fast charging to the mix.
