vivo has officially launched its new Y400 Pro 5G smartphone in India. This is the latest addition to the Y400 series and comes with some premium features at a mid-range price. The phone is priced starting at Rs. 24,999 and will be available from June 27th, with pre-bookings starting today.
The vivo Y400 Pro 5G features a large 6.77-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is curved and supports HDR10+ for better colors and contrast. It can reach a peak brightness of 4500 nits, which makes it one of the brightest screens in this price range. The Y400 Pro runs on Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, built on a 4nm process. It is paired with 8GB of RAM, and users can add another 8GB of virtual RAM using the phone’s storage. You can choose between 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, both using UFS 2.2 for faster data speeds.
The vivo Y400 Pro 5G features a 50MP main rear camera using the Sony IMX882 sensor, which also includes OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) for clearer low-light shots and stable videos. There is a 2MP portrait camera and an Aura Light system that helps adjust color temperature for better skin tones and accurate lighting. On the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera. Both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording, which is rare in this price segment.

The vivo Y400 Pro 5G is available in three colors: Freestyle White, Fest Gold, and Nebula Purple. The 8GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs. 24,999, while the 8GB + 256GB version costs Rs. 26,999. Buyers can purchase the phone through Amazon, Flipkart, vivo India online store, and offline retailers.
