A new tactical roguelite game called Day of the Shell is set to release on July 29 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. The game is developed by Duper Games and published by Goblinz Publishing and Entalto Publishing.
Day of the Shell is a fast-paced strategy game where each move is made with just one click. Despite the simple controls, the game offers deep and challenging gameplay. The story is set in a world nearly destroyed by the gods. Only a few islands are left. You play as a monster huntress trying to fight back and survive. Your goal is to move through the islands, defeat monsters, and face the gods’ final challenge.
The game features one-click combat. Every move in the game is made with a single click. This makes the game fast and easy to pick up, but it still requires smart strategy. On each island, you will battle monsters, collect treasures, and unlock portals to move forward. The final goal is to reach the core and destroy the Shell.
The game lets you combine powers from different “Warden blessings” to create your own strategy. Every run can feel different.
If you die, you go back to your home island. But each death gives you a chance to upgrade and plan better for your next run.
