Samsung has officially announced its next Galaxy Unpacked event, scheduled for July 9, 2025, in Brooklyn, New York. The company is teasing a new AI-powered interface that will redefine how users interact with their Galaxy devices.
In its statement, Samsung said that AI is becoming the new user interface, turning smartphones into smart companions that understand user intent and respond instantly. This shift, Samsung says, moves users from reaction to anticipation.
At the event, Samsung is expected to unveil several new devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025.
Samsung is likely to power the Galaxy Z Flip7 with the newly announced Exynos 2500 deca-core chip. According to leaks, it may come in Jet Black, Blue Shadow, and Coral Red colour options. The Galaxy Z Flip7 FE is also expected and may come in Black and White variants.
The Galaxy Z Fold7 is said to feature a larger 6.5-inch outer display and an 8.2-inch foldable screen, making it the largest foldable display yet, even bigger than the OPPO Find N5.
Both foldables are expected to get a price hike this year.
Alongside the foldable phones, Samsung will also reveal its new smartwatches: Galaxy Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic, and the all-new Watch Ultra 2025.
Samsung has already started pre-reservations in India. Customers can reserve the upcoming Galaxy devices by paying Rs. 1999 on the Samsung India Store and Amazon.in. Those who pre-book will get benefits worth Rs. 5999. The pre-reservations are open until July 9, 2025, or until pre-booking begins.
