Redmi Pad 2 with 11-inch 2.5K display Launched in India

With the Redmi Pad 2, Xiaomi is targeting users who want a big screen, long battery life, and a smooth experience without spending too much. The tablet is available in two versions — Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + 4G. It also comes with Android 15, a powerful processor, and support for features like face unlock and Redmi’s smart pen.

The Redmi Pad 2 comes with a big 11-inch 2.5K display that has a 2560 × 1600 resolution and a 90Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate. The screen gets up to 600 nits brightness in outdoor mode. It also supports Reading Mode, Touch-on-Wet, and Flicker-Free Dimming. The display is TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light, flicker-free viewing, and circadian rhythm protection.

This tablet is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra chip. It comes with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, and you can expand it further up to 2TB using a microSD card.

The Redmi Pad 2 runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2, based on Android 15, and includes features like Circle to Search, Face Unlock, Gemini, and multi-user profiles.

For audio, the tablet has quad speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support. You also get a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is becoming rare these days. This makes it a great option for media consumption and entertainment.

The Redmi Pad 2 has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, both of which support teleprompter mode and HDR.

The Wi-Fi + Cellular version supports dual 4G SIMs and GPS. It also has Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 5, and a USB Type-C port. You also get features like call sync, network sync, and shared clipboard between Xiaomi devices. The tablet includes sensors like an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a magnetometer, and more.

The tablet packs a large 9000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging via USB Type-C. A 15W charger comes in the box.

It also works with the Redmi Smart Pen, which offers 4096 pressure levels, low latency, and up to 12 hours of usage on a single charge.

The Redmi Pad 2 is available in two colours: Sky Blue and Graphite Grey. The tablet is slim at just 7.36mm and weighs around 510 grams for the Wi-Fi model and 519 grams for the Cellular model. It is lightweight and easy to carry.
