Have you ever found your inbox overflowing with promotional emails, daily deal alerts, and newsletters that you barely remember subscribing to? It’s easy to lose track when your email is bombarded with messages from retailers you haven’t visited in ages and LinkedIn event reminders.
While these emails might not be classified as spam, they can clutter your inbox and make it challenging to find the important messages you need.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by this daily email chaos, there’s exciting news for Gmail users!
Google is currently launching a fantastic “Manage subscriptions” tool in Gmail, allowing users to effortlessly view, organize, and manage all their promotional, subscription, and newsletter emails from a single, convenient location.
All Your Emails Organized in One Place
With the new “Manage subscriptions” feature, you’ll be greeted with a well-organized list of services you’re subscribed to. This list is sorted by the frequency of emails received, highlighting the most persistent senders at the top.
Want to see what they’ve sent? Just click on any sender to access a complete view of all their communications. If you decide you’re no longer interested, simply click on “Unsubscribe” next to the sender’s name. Gmail will take care of the rest, sending an unsubscribe request on your behalf—no more hunting for hidden links at the bottom of emails!
To start utilizing this feature, just open the navigation menu in the top-left corner of your inbox and select “Manage subscriptions.”
When Can You Access This Feature?
The “Manage subscriptions” feature is currently being rolled out on the web version of Gmail, with Android users receiving access starting July 14, and iOS users following suit on July 21.
This feature is available for personal Gmail accounts, Google Workspace customers, and Workspace Individual users in select countries. While there’s no confirmed timeline for a full global rollout, many users have already spotted the new tool in their Gmail.
