Alongside the Phone 3, Nothing has finally launched its first over-ear headphones — the Nothing Headphone (1). Just like its other products, the design is clear and minimal, with a transparent shell that stands out instantly. These are not just about looks, though. There is solid audio tech packed inside.
The Headphone (1) comes with 40mm dynamic drivers built with high linearity suspension and an 8.9mm PU surround. The headphones have been tuned in partnership with KEF, a legendary audio company with over 60 years of experience in high-fidelity sound. It confirms that Nothing focused on sound quality seriously.
You get Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) up to 42dB. It scans the environment every 600ms and adapts in real-time. There is also wear detection that checks for noise leaks every 1875ms and adjusts the ANC accordingly. There’s Transparency Mode, spatial audio, adaptive bass, and even dynamic head tracking for a full 360° audio experience.
The headphones come with Bluetooth 5.3, support for LDAC, Hi-Res Wireless, USB-C audio, and even a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is rare these days. They also feature AI-powered Clear Voice Tech, trained on 28 million scenarios to deliver great call clarity.
You can control volume, media, and ANC with a mix of roller, paddle, and physical buttons, which is refreshing in a world full of clumsy touch gestures.
Nothing promises up to 35 hours of playback with ANC on, and 80 hours with ANC off. A 5-minute charge gives you up to 2.4 hours of listening with ANC. That is impressive. The headphones are also IP52-rated and have passed over 50 durability tests, including sweat, twist, drop, and temperature checks.
The Nothing Headphone (1) is priced at ₹21,999, but there is a special launch price of ₹19,999 on day one. They are available in Black and White, and go on sale starting July 15, 2025. You can get them on Flipkart, Myntra, Croma, Vijay Sales, and leading offline retailers. There is also a 12-month no-cost EMI offer for buyers.
