OPPO has officially launched the Reno14 and Reno14 Pro smartphones in India. The phones come with flat AMOLED displays, improved performance, large batteries, and AI-powered camera features.
The Reno14 features a 6.59-inch 1.5K flat OLED display, while the Reno14 Pro has a slightly larger 6.83-inch screen. Both displays offer a 120Hz refresh rate and 3840Hz PWM dimming, making them smooth and easy on the eyes. OPPO has dropped the quad-curve design seen in previous models and gone with a flat panel this time. The displays are protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and deliver high peak brightness and vivid colors.
The standard Reno14 uses the same MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chip found in the Reno13, but the Pro version gets the new Dimensity 8450 processor, which brings noticeable performance improvements. These phones come with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of fast UFS 3.1 storage. To handle heat more efficiently, OPPO has added an AI-powered Dual Cooling System with a nano ice crystal heat sink. The company claims this setup is three times more efficient than the one used in earlier models.
Both Reno14 phones ship with Android 15 and ColorOS 15. OPPO promises five years of major Android updates and six years of security updates, which is great news for users planning to keep the device for a long time.
On the camera front, both models include a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel 3.5x periscope zoom lens, and a 50-megapixel front camera. The Pro variant also includes a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, while the standard model comes with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. These cameras are capable of recording 4K 60fps HDR video, and OPPO has packed several AI tools to help users take better photos and videos.
AI Editor 2.0 can automatically crop and adjust images based on their aspect ratio. AI Perfect Shot can learn facial features from your photo gallery and replace faces in group shots in a natural way. AI Style Transfer lets users apply creative filters using a reference photo. AI Livephoto 2.0 ensures that fast-moving scenes are captured without blur, using hardware-level dual exposure. Users can also extract the perfect frame from a live photo, enhance it using a super-resolution algorithm, or save it as a ProXDR image that keeps HDR details intact. Low-light photography is also better, thanks to AI Flash Livephoto, which adjusts flash behavior in real-time.
These phones also have Stereo speakers and support USB Type-C audio. These phones also include an In-display fingerprint sensor and an Infrared sensor.
Reno 14 packs a 6000mAh battery and supports 80W SuperVOOC wired charging. The Reno14 Pro packs a 6200mAh battery, and it supports 80W wired charging and 50W wireless AIRVOOC charging.

The Reno14 comes in Pearl White and Forest Green, while the Reno14 Pro comes in Titanium Grey and Opal White.
