Bengal Warriorz have announced Phab as their official nutrition partner ahead of Season 12 of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), set to begin later this month.
The franchise revealed the tie-up through its social media platforms with the campaign tagline “Fuelled by Phab.”
The partnership emphasizes the growing role of sports nutrition in kabaddi, a sport demanding high-intensity performance and rapid recovery.
Phab, recognized for its protein-rich foods and health supplements, will provide tailored nutrition and wellness support to the Warriorz’ squad throughout the season.
For Capri Sports, owners of the Bengal Warriorz, the move aligns with its broader vision of infusing international best practices into team operations. By focusing on athlete well-being, the group reinforces its brand philosophy of “Change The Game.”
This collaboration adds to the wave of commercial partnerships being forged across PKL franchises ahead of Season 12, underlining the league’s increasing value to nutrition, fitness, and lifestyle brands looking to tap into its fast-growing fan base.
After a disappointing finish in PKL Season 11, where the Warriorz fell short of the playoffs, the team enters the new season with renewed ambition. The 2025 squad combines international experience with young Indian talent.
Korean legend Jang Kun Lee and Iranian raider Omid Mohammadshah headline the attacking unit, joined by promising raiders Vishwas S, Himanshu Narwal, and youngster Rachit Yadav. In defense, stalwarts Nitesh Kumar and Manjeet anchor the backline, supported by Mayur Kadam, Ashish, and Amandeep Kajal. All-rounders Moolchand Marko and Shivansh Thakur provide balance across the mat.
The Warriorz will begin their redemption campaign on August 31, 2025, against Haryana Steelers at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Vizag, a clash that sets the tone for their bid to reclaim playoff contention.
